Hi-Low Fastener Inch
Hi-low is a high performance, duel lead thread forming screw for plastic & wood applications, designed with a unique high and low thread. The higher sharper thread has a steep flank angle for positive engagement, lower radial pressure and reduced boss failure. The screw is designed to increase you drive to strip out ratio improving your in-place fastener costs.
- Reduce cracking, splitting and boss breakage
- Increase pull-out strength
- Lower driving, higher strip out torques

Description:A thread forming screw with a double-lead, consisting of a low and a high thread. The lower thread varies in height from 1/3 to 1/2 that of the high thread, which is sharper and flatter than a standard thread.
-
Applications:for use in plastic, nylon, wood or other low-density materials. Thread design reduces driving torques, enhances resistance to thread stripping, improves pullout strength and lessens risk of cracking the work piece.
